This course has been designed to meet the minimum recommended level of spill response training for anyone who may have to respond to an oil spill, as well as for members of WCSS who may have missed an annual Oil Spill Cooperative training exercise.

Spill Responder 100 will take approximately 4 hours to complete, and provides access to the manual and relevant legislation. There are 4 modules that will take the learner through Spill Preparedness Requirements, Safety, Initial Spill Response Steps, and Containment and Recovery. Each module contains interactivity designed to give the learner insight and a thorough understanding of the course content. At the end of each module, the learner will complete a knowledge check. At the completion of Spill Responder 100, the learner will be able to download or print their own certificate.
