Prerequisite: Completion of all of the following learning contents required to start. Spill Responder 200A (ilt)
The first of its kind, students will spend the morning in a classroom setting reviewing the importance of discerning between different wetland characteristics and regulatory expectations when carrying out a response in wetlands. Case studies will support a comprehensive learning environment, followed by an interactive workshop to support field activities later in the day.
Students will use the workshop results to discuss and identify various components of wetlands and the challenges that response tactics present in a field setting.
