Prerequisite: Completion of all of the following learning contents required to start.
Step 1: Western Canadian Spill Services Orientation (course), Step 2: Oil Spill Containment & Recovery in Lakes and Standing Water (course)

Lake Exercise Outcome Goals:
To enable attendees to support their Operations Section Chief or designate with the development of equipment to contain and recover the spilled material where boats and specialized equipment are required and/or to protect sensitive areas.

Attendees will be offered the opportunity to get hands-on training with WCSS equipment that can be expected to be used at a release site where jet boats, lake boom, skimmers designed for waterbodies with no flow, centrifugal pump and associated gear may be required.
