Step 1: Western Canadian Spill Services Orientation (course), Step 2: Oil Spill Containment & Recovery in a Large River (course)

Large River Exercise Outcome Goal:
To enable attendees to support their Operations Section Chief or designate with the deployment of equipment to contain and recover the spilled material where boats and specialized equipment are required and/or to protect sensitive areas.

Attendees will be offered the opportunity to get hands-on training with WCSS equipment that can be expected to be used at a release site where jet boats, a 0.3m BoomVane, boom deflectors, fast water boom, instream and shoreline anchors, a pedco skimmer, centrifugal pump and associated gear may be required.
