Prerequisite: Completion of all of the following learning contents required to start. Spill Responder 200A (program)
The first of its kind, students will spend the morning in a classroom setting reviewing the importance of discerning between different wetland characteristics and regulatory expectations when carrying out a response in wetlands. Case studies will support a comprehensive learning environment, followed by an open-book exam.
In the field, students will explore and identify various components of wetlands and work together to identify appropriate response tactics in a field setting.
